The Career Service – who we are:
The Career Service at Ruhr University Bochum is an advisory service provided by the university that supports students, doctoral candidates and graduates in organising practical studies and preparing for their career entry during their studies.
The Career Service…
supports you with personal advice, events, training courses and workshops, as well as individual coaching, to help you organise your studies in a practical way and successfully start your career.
creates platforms where students and companies can get to know each other.
is in regular contact with academic advisors and other stakeholders at RUB.
The Career Service offers RUB students and graduates targeted assistance with career orientation and a successful start to their careers.
The Career Service advisors provide support from the initial definition of a career goal to specific career questions – on an ad hoc basis for individual concerns, but also, on request, with comprehensive coaching including strategic career planning through to a successful start to a career.
